Prof. Brig. Gen. A K. Md Mustafa Abedin (Retd) is a Hematologist in Dhaka. His credentials include MBBS, MCPS, FCPS (Hematology). He is employed at City Hospital Ltd. He has accumulated 30 years of professional experience at Lab Aid, Ibn Sina and Popular diagnostics.

Dr. Abul Kalam Azad is a Clinical Laboratory Geneticist. After graduating, he did his MSc in Biotechnology at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. Further, he joined as a Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul, Korea, and worked on the neurogenetics of GABAergic neurons in transgenic mice. Dr. Azad obtained his PhD in Human Genetics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. During his PhD, he investigated the role of the epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) gene in developing and modifying the cystic fibrosis (CF) disease pathophysiology. His Post-Doctoral training at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, Canada is to find out the prognostic and predictive genetic markers of upper aero-digestive tract cancer that has a significant clinical outcome for patient care and treatment.

Dr. Md. Mainul Islam earned his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College (DMC) in 2012, followed by an MD in Pathology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He also holds a BCS (Health) and has completed Part 1 of the FRCPath in Histopathology (UK). His thesis was titled “Histomorphological Patterns of Renal Biopsy in Steroid-Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome in Children.” Dr. Islam is currently engaged in several research projects, including studies on Ki-67 expression in meningioma, WT1 expression in colorectal carcinoma, and the histopathological evaluation of lip biopsy in Sjögren's syndrome.

Dr. Mst. Rubeyatul Jannat obtained her MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College in 2009. She then pursued a Diploma in Clinical Pathology (DCP) and an MD in Pathology, both from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Jannat is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Monno Medical College. Her professional journey also includes roles at prominent institutions such as Birdem General Hospital, Asgar Ali Hospital, MSMMU, and other well-regarded medical organizations.

Abu Sufian completed his MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Dhaka. With over 10 years of experience in molecular diagnostics and forensic DNA analysis, he is proficient in genetic assays, including manual and automated nucleic acid extraction, PCR, Real-Time PCR, sequencing, and data analysis. His skills extend to developing and executing complex protocols, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Abu Sufian has worked as a Junior Consultant at DNA Solution Limited and as a Forensic DNA Analyst at the National Forensic DNA Profiling Laboratory in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Zakia Binte Tofayel holds both a B.Sc. (Hons) and an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Dhaka. With over 20 years of experience in the diagnostics field, her expertise spans biochemistry, immunochemistry, and general laboratory work. She has ser ved as a Lab In Charge and Chief Scientific Officer and has significant experience in molecular diagnostics, including roles at DNA Solutions.
